The Vermilion Lighthouse on Lake Erie, just steps from Harbour Town Guesthouse Bed & Breakfast, was originally built in 1847. It proudly stands in the front of the Great Lakes Historical Society on the shore of Lake Erie, in Vermilion, Ohio. The lighthouse is illuminated by a 200 watt incandescent light bulb with a 5th order Fresnel lens.

A replica of the 1877 Vermilion Lighthouse, along with a ship's propeller and anchor, is on the Museum's lawn.

The Great Lakes Historical Society / Inland Seas Maritime Museum is located two miles north of the intersection of Ohio Routes 2 and 60, at 480 Main Street, Downtown Vermilion, Ohio in Erie county. 

The Museum is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Admission: Adults $6.00, Youth $5.00 (under 16), Under 6 - free, Senior $5.00 (65 & over), and Family admission for $14 (Adults and all children in immediate family). AAA and group discounts available.

Check-in time is 1 pm or by special arrangement.  Check-out time is 11 am.

~ Deposit ~

A 50% deposit is requested on all reservations.

~ Cancelations ~

A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for over seven days notice. Full payment due for less than seven days notice.

~ Restrictions ~

The Harbour Town Guesthouse Bed & Breakfast provides a smoke-free environment for our guests.  Smoking is permited on porches and gardens.

Breakfast is provided by Granny Joe's.  Suites also provide a private kitchen and your own private dining room.
